+ The Hispanic community is the largest ethnic community in the United States, making up approximately 17% of the population. It is estimated that by the year 2060, the Hispanic population in the United States will constitute approximately 31% of the population.


+ Today, more than 55 million people - almost one-fifth of the U.S. population-are Hispanic. Hispanics in the United States are reaching new heights in educational attainment, economic gains and changing the political landscape.


+ According to the Selig Center for Economic Growth at the University of Georgia, Hispanic consumers in the U.S. control a total of $1.5 trillion in buying power, up 212% this decade. Hispanics account for one out of every six Americans and their aggregate buying power is larger than the GDP of Australia.
